  1. FEH13 Peak intensity fix

Fix required for over estimation of summer peak intensities within FEH13 design rainfall brought on by a smaller timesteps being used and not a minimum % of the total duration.

Also to separate out the Areal Reduction Factor and Seasonal Correction Factors for clarity of the data.

Thank you for the requests, as the urgency is around the ability to submit user defined timesteps, the areal reduction factor and seasonal correction factors will be treated as a separate request.

As a further update to any previously provided, we can confirm that the current release of InfoWorks ICM now available from the website includes a timestep entry field which can be user populated.

In this first iteration there is a single timestep entry available. We appreciate that ideally multiple entries corresponding to multiple durations defined would be better so are looking into establishing this for the next release as a further enhancement.

  2. Model results as TVD connectors

We'd like to have model results as an input in the TVD connectors. An example is where we have observed flows that we would like to use at a tributary and then switch to catchment flows when the observations run out. We know this can be done using a set up of sluices and dummy objects but it would be a lot more elegant to simply have the subcatchment as Input B. I'm sure there are plenty of other examples of where using model results as an input would be useful.

  3. Long-sections: Centre Geoplan on the selected link

It would be handy if the Geoplan centred on the selected link when selecting a long section. It seems every time select a long-section the windows split into two halves, one for the geoplan, the other for the long-section. As a result the link I just selected is seldom visible in the geoplan frame, meaning I have to manually re-center the geoplan before I can carry on selecting links for the long section.

  4. I would like to be-able to reorder scenarios in the drop down in ICM

II would like to be able to change order of scenarios (after Base). So be able to move up scenarios or down scenarios in the drop down list. I often have to delete scenarios or created amended versions of copied scenarios and this often results in a pretty messed up list of scenarios

  5. Infoworks ICM- Sewage Temperature Modelling and Heat Losses

The following features should be added to Infoworks ICM for modelling temperature impacts for Heat extraction or heat insertion projects:
    - Sewage temperature to be added in WWG file as a pollutograph parameter and can also be defined in a diurnal pattern to consider trade temperature profiles
    - I&I temperatures can be extra entered
    - Linear heat losses can be defined for standard pipe configurations towards an equilibrium temperature
    - Temperature mixing at each node, based on WQ simulation engine
    - Heat extraction or insertion possible at any model node

  7. Export Max Flood Contours - Elevation

It would add value to ICM if users could export the Maximum Flood Contours as Elevations in the same way that we can for Depth. This would be particularly useful as currently Depth is the only property that be be exported as an ASCII Grid file.

It appears that the contour intervals used in the export is taken from the "Flood" theme. Perhaps under "Map Type" there could be options to add "Flood Elevation - Filled/Show Layers/Transparent/etc" and hence with a Flood Elevation map type chosen the Max Flood Contours could be exported as elevations.

  8. Calculating volume storage on river reaches

In the application of ICM, we often count the regulation volume of river channels. But at the moment we can only calculatethe total available volume of channels/river reaches between two cross sections by using length and cross sectional areas. If the number of river sections is very large in the model,it will take a lot of time and effort to accomplish this work. It would be great to have the tool to calculate volume storage on river reaches automatically.

  9. Statistic Report Batch Processing

As a use the ability to 'schedule' statistical reports would be extremely useful. currently if i'm generating a spill report on several overflows for a 10yr TSR series this can take several hours. The process effectively locks the software and prevents any other operation from been undertaken. This is highly inefficient and costly especially when optioneering if several iterations are needed. Shorter TSR's can be run in this case however even a year with several CSO's can take 20-30mins.

  11. Show water levels at Bridge Linear Structures

We would like to see the water levels at the bridge linear structures as it is important for us to be able to see the water levels with respect to the bridge openings and decks.

  12. bottom opening

Beside an upstanding vertical orrifice, it would be practical to be able to implement horizontal 'bottom holes' from one node to an underlaying node. e.g when a ditch can drain to an underlying conduit by means of a bottom opening. This might be a more straight forward implementation then the weir circumference workround method which is now often used. if possible both circular and rectangular.

  14. Implement the Nash-Sutcliffe coefficient to evaluate the quality of the calibration

Developp this tool would help the customer to analyze their calibration and justify the used coefficients.

  15. Enable alternate versions of the SWMM engine within ICM

I would like to have the option to use a different version of the SWMM engine to be run instead of the latest Innovyze version. In some cases this is required, but it is often very helpful to confirm the results from previous versions.

  16. Link to Examples

Do you have an expounded example of each Allocation Method with examples? It will help if a link is established to get directed to that documentation. For example; can you help me get directed to an example Closest Junction allocation method?

  17. Show data errors

Mike + added a function called "show data errors" in its new product in 2021, which can display objects that lack necessary field information and generate a table. This function can improve the ability of model engineers to deal with model errors more quickly. I hope ICM can add this function

  18. Warning Messages in InfoSewer

Is there a way to stop the program from checking for this? InfoWater has the Engineering Validation Manager which allows the “rules check” to be toggled on and off.

The user does not want to see Negative Flow Warning messages in the RPT file of InfoSewer. You can get this warning if the flow does not converge for the advanced force main solution. It is a warning and not an indication the EPS simulation is faulty.

  19. 'Find and Replace Flags' tool on multiple networks.

As a large organisation with multiple users of InfoWorks ICM we have a set up with one masterdatabase and everyone using groups off this in order to keep all users on the same version. The downside is, that as users import previous models more flags get added, which are now obsolete in our current specification leading to hundreds of flags in the masterdatabase. It is not practicable to use the find and replace flags tool on each network individually, if this feature was expanded to be able to use on multiple networks, it would make administering our model flags much…

  20. As a user, when transmit a model in XPSWMM, I would like the externally referenced surface, soil and landuse also be packaged.

In XPSWMM, when 2D data are referenced externally, they are not packaged when transmit the model
