As a user, when transmit a model in XPSWMM, I would like the externally referenced surface, soil and landuse also be packaged.
In XPSWMM, when 2D data are referenced externally, they are not packaged when transmit the model2 votes
As ICM is fundamentally a workgroup environment, so shared across multiple offices and multiple users, we need to be able to understand license usage of user interfaces and simulation engines. We need ICM to log usage so we can then develop tools to interpret that information or build this into ICM so we can see usage. We often have instances when users cannot get licenses but there is no way to log this so we can establish a business case for purchasing more licenses. Similar with simulation engines we need to be able to report usage to demonstrate the need to invest in more processing ability/licenses.
Ideally we need ICM to log usage:
license type (Viewer/1D/2D/sim etc)
start of session
end of session
total licenses in use
We can then use this information to generate live reports for users and managers of the system and provide forecasts in demand

We are currently developing an updated license system for all Innovyze products. This will include the ability to identify license usage information.
We are currently gathering additional requirements for these features. We are more than happy to discuss these requirements.
It would be great if a user could set number formats in InfoWorks ICM grid windows. For example, we are calibrating a large diameter pipeline by adjusting Manning's n values. We are using 5 digits after the decimal place, but ICM only shows 4 digits. When I copy from the grid, it only copies 4 digits after the decimal. So I have to use a csv export to see the actual values. Or at least set Manning's n values to 5 digits after the decimal place.4 votes
A pump curve and energy/efficiency curve can be input into the software however there is no way to output the energy used by the pump. South Gippsland Water were keen on understanding whether ICM could do this to report their energy efficiency baseline. This can be done in InfoWorks WSPro.3 votes
Storage nodes often represent detention basins or other locations with large areas. Pipes enter/leave from opposite sides. With the standard link/node configuration, one or more link will be mis-configured compared to the actual location.
I have long wanted to have a storage area polygon, with links connecting to the nearest edge, rather than the center.4 votes
Thank you for this request. I just wanted to confirm whether this was for display purposes only to allow for better representation of the actual configuration on site or whether the location of pipes was expected to influence the hydraulics in some way.
Currently, the User URL option for the "View Online" menu in Innovyze ICM only allows for the output of longitude and latitude coordinates. Our GIS system is built on the BNG projection and therefore uses X/Y coordinates in its URL. Can you enable X/Y coordinates to be used in the User URL generated by ICM?4 votes
Similar to how ICM lets me run a SQL query across multiple networks, I want to use SQL to summarize results in a custom way across multiple simulation results objects.
Ideally they could be joined in one table similar to the way one can query from sim.depnode and sim2.depnode when an alternate results is applied to the map. But simply running a query on each simulation in isolation would be helpful as well3 votes
InfoSWMM provides Pipe/Conduit summary report with values for Max flow divided by "Full Flow". Here the "full flow" is based on Manning's equation for when the pipe is full. However as a sewer utility, we're not allowed to fill pipes. We must keep pipes below 80% full as a constant benchmark.
We'd prefer all our reports are compared against 0.8d/D instead of Full Flow.4 votes
As an XPSWMM user, I would like to be able to import flow data from SWMM5 Inflow/outflow formats. So that I can import results from CUHP.
For the latest versions of CUHP https://mhfd.org/resources/software/ , it is using the SWMM5 text inflow/outflows format for results. Therefore the old conversion tool in XPSWMM no longer works.2 votes
When applying direct rainfall onto 2D zones traditional roughness values do not typically apply, especially where the depths of water on the mesh element are very small. Often the workaround is to apply much higher roughness values in order to 'slow the flow'. It would be helpful to have a depth varying roughness that could be phased out as the water depth increases. This would put ICM in line with how TUFLOW and Flood Modeller Pro deal with the problem.21 votes
Please include weirs and orifices in the ARR Ensemble Statistics summary. Currently, only conduits or natural channels are included.7 votes
There should be an option to select to limit sim slots to be used by a model so other models dont go in waiting when running sims simulataneously .8 votes
If my understanding of the request is correct then I believe that this capability does already exist in the agent options. If you are able to start the InfoWorks ICM agent manager, then here it is possible to set a maximum number of concurrent simulations which can be active at any one time.
The status bar currently only displays levels (ground model level, water depth) to 1 decimal place. 2 Decimal places would be much more useful, Especially to ensure a node is at a low point or in the gutter invert..1 vote
Using SQL to select gauged objects would allow their dynamic selection based on object properties, not just from a static list. This is an issue when testing scenarios if field names are added/changed. It is further compounded by selection lists becoming read-only after being used in a simulation, prompting a proliferation of duplicate selection list objects to update the list.3 votes
The state of NSW provides additional data that supersedes the pre-burst and Initial loss data provided in the data downloaded through the Data Hub. As a user I would like the option to easily modify the pre-burst rainfall applied to the from of the storms based on this information.1 vote
We use ICM version 7, 9 and 11 as per client requirements. We have 2 full licences and 2 viewer licences. When the full licences were already in use, ICM version 7 and 9 would automatically open with a viewer licence. This doesn't happen anymore with ICM 11 and I have to switch between different licence types through the licence key setup each time. Can you bring back the function from ICM 7 and 9?1 vote
On a Long-Section of a pipe, I would like ICM to show the unconnected pipes which cross that long-section. This would illustrate potential pipe clashes.
I imagine the unconnected pipes would be shown as circles on the long-section similar to how connected pipes are currently shown.7 votes
We need more information on the problem of pipe clashes. Are these unconnected pipes in the model or are they referencing Asset networks, or Water networks?
How granular of a view does one need? I.e. are you interesting in generally where these crossing occur, or are you trying to identify how close you can cross something else?
In a workgroup setting with ICM with several simulation servers it is possible to limit a named group of simulation servers (a "group" can be just one server) for use with specific ICM model databases.
We would like to be able to limit use of a server group to specific users who will be working on many databases over a period of time. We don't want to restrict other users from running models in these databases; they can run on other servers.2 votes

With the large amounts of data generated it would be beneficial if a supported configuration would be to have a WDS installed on a server but pointing at databases (and solves etc) over the network on a remote storage system (such as NAS). This would make the whole solution far more scalable as the need arose.8 votes
