in IWPro to have a symbol for easy indication of UPC attached to an asset
It can be difficult to tell if UPC is attached to a pump without checking every time. It would be very helpful to have a way to show UPC, such as similar to live data.

elevation
When inserting a new junction in an existing pipe, InfoWater Pro interpolates the elevation data between the two existing nodes to come up with a default elevation estimate. A useful setting option would prevent this from happening, and instead default to a 0.00 elevation.

Multi-fireflow in WS Pro
Currently, the available built-in fireflow options in WS Pro run for individual nodes/hydrants as if no hydrant in the system is open. Adding the ability to run multiple hydrants that are opened simultaneously will be very useful.

Can you include scenarios in WS pro environment similar to ICM
ICM got the capability of the scenario modelling within the single network. H2Omap also had the same capability. Any possibility of having the same capability in WS pro?

Max or Min Flow values should not depend on the pipe direction. i.e. the value being positive or negative depend on the pipe direction
Currently, if the flow direction through the pipe is opposite to the direction of the pipe drawn it shows as a negative flow value. So if the flow goes both direction during the run, smaller positive value shows as the maximum flow and larger negative value shows as the minimum flow. This is wrong.

display multiple scenario results on long section picks
For long section picks on model runs showing the hydraulic gradients etc. it would be useful when carrying out scenario work to be able to display more than one set of run results - currently have to export to excel.

As a user it is good to allow tab windows to take it out to the second or third display
Tab windows are not allowed to move main window to second display.

Simple Criticality Assessment Manager reporting in InfoWater Pro
I want a simple report for each pounded area between valves, reporting the length of pipe affected, number of customers, number of critical customers, amount of demand taken offline by isolation, and possibly the total volume of demand lost between a specified time range.

As a user, I would like an automated method to allocate demands from meter points through lateral polyline to pipelines.
I need a way to allocate demand from a meter (point meter) to the pipe (polyline) based on the lateral connection (polyline) at end points.
Keep in mind:
The features might not snap nor connect to pipes18 votes -

Allow InfoWater to export simulation results in CSV format instead of DBF
The option to "Export simulation results for external application" in InfoWater would be more useful if the results were exported as CSV files instead of DBF files. We regularly need to compare the results from multiple model scenarios. Microsoft PowerBI or Excel PowerQuery are great tools for importing and comparing large amounts of data and could streamline this process significantly. However, neither support importing directly from DBF files.

Make InfoWater windows and dialog boxes resizable
Many windows in InfoWater/InfoWater Pro are not resizable, making it difficult to see long values.

Default 'Start Time' for testing feed Time Range in Live Data Feed
Currently in Test Feed window of Live Data Feed both 'Start Time' and 'End Time' default to now. It would be better if the 'Start Time' as in the past (e.g. today minus one day). That way when connect to live data from Pi or Scada some output would be produced. At the moment with the current defaults the user always have to modify the 'Start Time'.

Consistency in Plots Titles for Simulation and Live Data Plot Reports
Consistency in Plots Titles for Simulation and Live Data Plot Reports
In Graph tool plot title include ‘Asset ID’ and ‘Node ID’ e.g. “Hausegill SR (Reservoir: 004T4011)”. However in the Simulation report in only shows ‘Node ID ‘ e.g. ”004T4011”
Could it be made consistent and for the Simulation report to include both ‘Asset ID’ and ‘Node ID’ so plot titles are the same across different graphs components.3 votes -
I want to be able to customize the minor loss table for pipe networks.
It would be nice if the user could modify the minor loss table for pipes. Whether it be changing the minor loss values, deleting, or editing the existing values. Since we all have our own resource we typical reference for these values, it would be nice to import those values and have that database saved in Infowater to make it easy to add all bends, etc. while building a model.
Thanks!

Bring back the pause button for calculation.
In one of the first version of Infoworks there was a pause button for calculation. We have some big calculations who mostly run at nighttime. Sometimes the run is so big it still runs in the morning. The only thing we can do is stop the calculation. We have 66 processors but infoworks get slow for others. So the only thing we can do now is stop the calaculation and make a smaller (less pipese with CLA calaculations). When we have a pause button we can start the run in the evening without losing the results. The results selector works…
