As a user of InfoWorks WS Pro, I would like that MapXtreme was the default setting for the background management. I mean, in the the software download page it's called "InfoWorks WS Pro with MapXtreme", so it would be quite obvious that MapXtreme is the default setting... (Besides, in "InfoWorks ICM with MapXtreme", MapXtreme IS the default setting!)4 votes
As a user and working within a Queensland council, Equivalent Persons (EP) are used for Local Government Infrastructure Plan (LGIP) triggers and growth planning. As the Census data is used create a demand model to define development staging horizon demands.
Currently, WSPro can handle no. of properties (l/service/day) which uses an integer but can’t handle Equivalent Persons (EP) that needs decimal formatting.
Our council believes a work-around is not suitable and creates complexity to demand allocation. WSPro should be able to handle different mechanisms for demand allocation to support all councils in Queensland and across Australia.7 votes
This was completed in version 2021.10. Equivalent Persons is a new demand Category Type.
As a user I want to be able to handle multi-solute water quality defining my own set of equations (same as EPANET MSX)8 votes
Add a date/time stamp for the last successful model run somewhere in the run manager window would be helpful. Once a run has been completed, it is possible for a user to make changes to the model which would affect the hydraulics, yet the stoplight still shows green/yellow. It's possible for a user to THINK they have completed a run with the latest changes despite their not being incorporated.6 votes
Would be good to see clearer version info on innovyze.force.com...
The old site innovyze.com/updates was better viz "for ArcGIS 10.3-10.7"6 votes
Download pages have been updated for clarity.
Like in ICM, if we can directly import data received from field tests or downloaded data using CSV or some other formats that will save lot of time in processing/creating into text formats.1 vote
Telemetry is already available to WS Pro users via LDC.
Denver Water has a massive outage program that runs a minimum of 6 months per year. All outages are modeled. For nearly all outages, 2 valves are shut down for safety. Having the isolation trace in IWLive contain an option to trace to the 2nd valve would be really useful and make this process significantly easier!2 votes
There is no reason an ArcGIS selection should work 5-50x faster than using domain tools in InfoWater. ArcGIS made great enhancements to ArcGIS Pro and utilizing a 64-bit environment. InfoWater could be much improved from a performance perspective2 votes
This is an issue that laisse inside ArcGIS Pro where moving the information of large maps and layers between threads may take some time. This has negatively impacted the InfoWater Pro performance, where simple tasks like enlarging domains or switching scenarios could take up to several minutes where the same task would have been performed in a matter of seconds on regular InfoWater. The Development Team identified a workaround to the issue with the introduction of the “Conditioned Table-Join” in InfoWater Pro 3.0.
Testing has proven significant performance which also scales up nicely for the large networks and it does not affect performance when dealing will smaller systems. Nothing changes for the end-user but performance increases ranges between 60 to 80% depending on model size.
It would be really helpful to visualize fire flow results such as Hydrant Available Flow in formats such as contours or changing the symbology of junctions. This provides a quick visual of the system and deficient areas or where boundary conditions may be interfering with results.2 votes
The Open Data Import/Export Centres have lots of functionality, but importing say 10 different files can be somewhat tedious and repetitive. Ths config files save the field mapping. Thinking of the way In InfoWater I can have all settings for multiple exchange configs and run them all at once.1 vote
You can save the config file and then have a script to butch run the ODIC. Reach out if you need support for the script.
Hi Innovyze, I would like to request in the InfoWater Designer add-on group limits(only currently set to 100) similar to InfoSWMM limit .
The current InfoWater add-on Designer has limit of 100 groups that can be assigned to the model pipes, pumps and tanks.
I have recently found from a colleague that the InfoSWMM add-on Designer has unlimited groups for pipe and other variables.
I do hope Innovyze can assist to have this capacity for InfoWater improved similar to InfoSWMM.
Extended to 300 pipe groups on InfoWater 10.4 Update 9
As a user of InfoWorks WS Pro, it would be very useful to have the possibility to easily change type to multiple selected objects.
e.g. Selecting 100 nodes and changing them into 100 hydrants (or tanks, or whatever...) just clicking an icon.1 vote
Available in InfoWorks WS Pro v4.5
As a user I want to be able to connect my InfoWater Pro to Utility Network0 votes
As a user I want to be able to assess the WQ risk of various potential options and are wanting to assess changes in both age and blend of water under different scenarios. The current maximum number of trace nodes is limited to 10. For the project we are currently undertaking we require circa 30 nodes.0 votes
