Add Max/Min HL/1000 Results
Can't currently map Max HL/1000. This would be more efficient/useful in some cases than mapping Max HL (feet). If your model has many segments, it is possible that very high head loss areas will not be flagged if only the HL is available.
7 votesThanks for the idea! This is now in InfoWater Pro version 3.5 Update 3 and up.

Initial Status Setting Saved to Model Preferences
Currently the "Show Pipe, Pump and Valve Initial Status" under the Display Settings tab in the model Preferences window will not stay checked after you save, close, and reopen the model. Please have this option/setting maintain the last setting when the model is reopened.

Allow the InfoWater Pro "Live Data Adapter" to Batch Import Sensor
When user has a lot of sensors they need to add to the Live Data Adapter, it is really hard to add one by one. We need a way to batch import the sensor using some kind of csv file.
2 votesThis capability came out in version 3.5, and now in 4.0 it is extended to also export the existing mapping to CSV so users can push and pull both ways.

in IWPro to have a symbol for easy indication of UPC attached to an asset
It can be difficult to tell if UPC is attached to a pump without checking every time. It would be very helpful to have a way to show UPC, such as similar to live data.

Link to Examples
Do you have an expounded example of each InfoWater Allocation Method with examples? It will help if a link is established to get directed to that documentation. For example; can you help me get directed to an example Closest Junction allocation method?

Max or Min Flow values should not depend on the pipe direction. i.e. the value being positive or negative depend on the pipe direction
Currently, if the flow direction through the pipe is opposite to the direction of the pipe drawn it shows as a negative flow value. So if the flow goes both direction during the run, smaller positive value shows as the maximum flow and larger negative value shows as the minimum flow. This is wrong.
6 votesInfoWater Pro reports Max/Min flow using the absolute value.
InfoWorks WS Pro reports velocity according to maximum magnitude (+ or -) for understanding shear stress but flow maintains the sign since that has some applications.
While WS Pro can Theme the pipes with absolute value of flow, you can use an SQL to generate a table. For example:
SELECT IIF,sim.qmax,ABS) AS [Max Q] -
elevation
When inserting a new junction in an existing pipe, InfoWater Pro interpolates the elevation data between the two existing nodes to come up with a default elevation estimate. A useful setting option would prevent this from happening, and instead default to a 0.00 elevation.

Allow decimals in number of properties assigned to customer points
When setting up future demand scenarios we are often provided increase in population over an existing area of the network, reflecting infill growth across the area. However we can't distribute this across existing customer points because only a whole number of properties can be assigned to each customer point.
Demand scaling could be used for this but has a number of drawbacks:
- To use demand scaling we need to change the area code to reflect development areas, which means we can't use area codes to analyse DMAs.
- It also means the demand statistics for a network does not…5 votesThis was implemented as "Equivalent Persons" as a new demand "Category Type". It operats the same as Properties but supports non-integer values.

Import demand scaling using CSV file on WS PRO
Please add the ability to import demand scaling using CSV file on WS PRO
9 votesThis feature was implemented in InfoWorks WS Pro 2021.9.
Demand scaling can be exported and imported using CSV files.

display multiple scenario results on long section picks
For long section picks on model runs showing the hydraulic gradients etc. it would be useful when carrying out scenario work to be able to display more than one set of run results - currently have to export to excel.

Can you include scenarios in WS Pro environment similar to ICM
ICM has the capability of the scenario modelling within the single network. H2Omap also had the same capability. Any possibility of having the same capability in WS pro?

Add a button or function key to re-run the last model run
This would speed up the process of model calibration, where I would be adjusting a pipe roughness, PRV or PS control and run the model after each adjustment. Instead of opening the run schedule and clicking run and then ok, a run button or function key would speed this up.
1 voteright-click on the run and re-run → the software is going to ask you if you want to use the latest network/control.

As a user, I would like an automated method to allocate demands from meter points through lateral polyline to pipelines.
I need a way to allocate demand from a meter (point meter) to the pipe (polyline) based on the lateral connection (polyline) at end points.
Keep in mind:
The features might not snap nor connect to pipes20 votesThis feature has been completed and is included in InfoWater Pro 4.0 Update 1 being released today.

Default 'Start Time' for testing feed Time Range in Live Data Feed
Currently in Test Feed window of Live Data Feed both 'Start Time' and 'End Time' default to now. It would be better if the 'Start Time' as in the past (e.g. today minus one day). That way when connect to live data from Pi or Scada some output would be produced. At the moment with the current defaults the user always have to modify the 'Start Time'.

Sorting 'Live Data Points’ by "Finish Date and Time" column
Sorting 'Live Data Points’ by "Finish Date and Time" column
In ‘Live Data Points’ tab it is not possible to sort items by grey fields such as "Start Date and Time" or "Finish Date and Time".
I want to sort on "Finish Date and Time" so that assets with missing or old data are on the top of the list and can be investigated. If possible even if it is temporary data refreshed upon linked with Pi could sorting be added? If not sorting option should be disabled on columns that are not possible to use.2 votesThis was an issue that was fixed as of version 2021.11

Allow Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V in InfoWater Pro
I could always copy and paste attributes via simple keyboard commands (Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V) in classic InfoWater, but can no longer do that in InfoWater Pro. You can right click and select "Copy" or "Paste", but that takes longer. Bring back keyboard commands.

use of custom buttons over multiple models
At this time the custom action buttons are only relevant to the database. As a user who has a number of SQL toolboxes which I use across multiple models it would be highly beneficial if these custom action buttons could be set up in the software so they were applicable to all models opened
8 votesSQL can now be exported to IWQ files (binary formats). Those can then be stored in the factory SQL library directory and then used across multiple master databases. Functionality available from WS Pro 2021.5, target release date April 2021.

Run MSX in IWLive
There is massive interest in having a water quality model that shows pH, Nitrification, chlorine levels, age, and tracing in real time. Currently this is only possible for water age (the basic EPANET WQ does not allow for the source tracing and quality modeling we need).
Would be really nice to do these with IWLive with shorter duration Server runs (using the proceeding projection), as opposed to having to do 20 day runs in IWLive, export to InfoWater, then setup MSX there and run for another 20 days.
