Clash detection between pipe networks
Can wall thicknesses be added to pipes and manholes to check clash detections

Run same return period with multiple climate change allowances
When running the simulation wizard I would like to be able to run the same return period with multiple climate change allowances to enable a single analysis covering all scenarios. This will avoid needing to adjust inputs & rerunning the network multiple times to cover no CC, upper & lower CC limits.

Enable drawnet manhole changes
Enable the manholes assigned to impermeable areas on drawnet to be changed.
It is currently not possible to change the manhole when editing a network meaning the areas have to be deleted then recreated. Being able to change the manhole would save a lot of time.4 votes -
Flood Studies Update: Ireland
Add support for the Met-Eireann DDF Irish Rainfall Data. The IDF data can be downloaded from a website and automatically uploading this data would be a big time-saver for users in Ireland.

Retain/Lock dummy MH names
Can we get a function to lock/retain MH numbers, If you have multiple dummy MH's and need to make changes any name you have given to these is lost when renumbering. You then need to go through the whole process again.

True Ground Profile on Long Section Exports
It would be very useful if there was a way for the true ground profile to also be exported on long sections. Currently, when exporting long sections from microdrainage, the true ground levels are only shown at manhole locations and a straight line is used to replicate ground level between the manholes. Could a 3D terrrain file possibly be loaded into microdrainage so that the true ground profile is shown when exporting long sections?

InfoDrainage - Apply urban creep to selected storms only
Urban creep is an additional test which is not applicable to all runs. So would be more useful to not have a universal application of creep (to all storms). Would be better to have the facility to apply to selected storms only.

InfoDrainage - Time of entry to be called time of entry, not time of concentration
Te has specific meaning in the UK when using the rational method (modified).
Tc also has speific meaning (Te + sumTf).
It would be better if the software wants the user to input a Te, that it calls it Te. At the moment it calls the Te Time of concentration, which is very confusing.2 votes -

Status Bar to report more significant figures
The status bar currently only displays levels (ground model level, water depth) to 1 decimal place. 2 Decimal places would be much more useful, Especially to ensure a node is at a low point or in the gutter invert..

Print Tickbox for Manhole Schedule Layout option
In MicroDrainage 2019.1 the Manhole Schedule printout also includes a manhole layout, sometimes this is unnecessary and it would be helpful if there was an additional tickbox option in the printout settings.

Enable locking of pipe numbers
One of the aims of BIM is that all the different models you create match. If you issue a pipe network 3D model for construction with certain pipe numbering and then a minor change happens this can affect every pipe number in the system. But once it's already been issued for construction you can't afford to change pipe numbers as it would be too confusing, which means that the 3D model can no longer match the Microdrainage model.

Switch design return periods when running cascade analysis
I would like to be able to build a single cascade model & able run it for various design return periods instead of needing to create separate cascade models for each return period.

InfoDrainage - level bench in basin/pond configuration
The sizing calculator in the pond build pop-up enables one side lpe only.
There are now LLFAs that require level benck of at aleast 1.5 m width after 0.6 m depth in a basin.
It is currently not possible to use your calculator to establish such basin properties.
This would be useful.1 vote -
Snap tool for areas
Just like in CAD DrawNet you can use the CAD tools to snap the points of the catchment areas to specific points, it would be useful to have a snapping tool built into the MicroDrainage program. It could be a simple tool so you can either put a new point of the area anywhere, or when you're close to a point of another area you can snap to that point. This would save going back and forth between MD and CAD.

Exceedance Level in Infodrainage
It would be good to have an option in underground stormwater controls to have a separate option for exceedance level and Ground Level
By taking the exceedance level as GL, it makes the Long sections look distorted when in reality it is common for our designs to have circa. 1m+ cover from top of tanks/soakaways etc to ground level.1 vote -
Manhole Schedule Numbering
For MH tables and report outputs, it would be good to have an option to report chronologically, e.g. 1-30.
I understand it numbers them on the first Manhole built in the model however I think it would make more sense to go from shallowest to deepest, e.g. U/S to D/S. As is quite common in design additional MHs need to be incorporated further into the model due to clashes or change in direction etc, so it would be best if all outputs and MH tables followed the numerical order.1 vote
